Our Local Guides

Spending time with family in Littleton, Colorado was a sweet chapter on our little adventure. Lucky for us, Steve's brother Brian and his wife Alex like to explore too and they made great local guides. They've had time to visit and scope out some of what their area has to offer and they introduced us to places that weren't on our radar, like the Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel (see video.)

The community surrounding The More We Explore is growing everyday. We love hearing from you and connecting with you. Many of you have shared with us your best suggestions of places to stay, visit, eat, hike and bike. We collect all this information from comments on our YouTube, Facebook, twitter, Instagram, email and website, and we save it to our precious master list. It's like having thousands of local guides out there.

We want to thank all of you for following along on our journey. Thanks for watching, reading, commenting and sharing. Maybe we'll even meet a few of you along  the way.

Keep being awesome!

Love,
Tess and Steve

Our daughter and her hubby and son just moved back to Alpine from Parker Colorado. My favorite places to eat were Crave Real Burger in Castle Rock and Coloradough Pizza on Cottonwood Dr in Parker. We also loved the hiking around Red Rock. Also, any concerts that might be playing at Red Rock are fun to go to. It's a fun experience. Love keeping up with you and your awesome adventures. Glad we can do it with you via your blog. Thanks and keep safe!

We're always happy for places to go in Colorado. Thanks for a few more things to add to our list! We'll be in town in October--hoping to cross paths with you at church.

OK...thought I'd put in my two cents about great places to explore. My favorite Colorado spot is Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. It is over on the western side of the state so you may have been there before (being from Utah and all). Be safe!

We're sad we missed it. We drove right by it, but we didn't have time to stop. We'll make a note to visit it next year. Thanks for the tip!

We drove by that area late one night a month ago and we wondered if we should check that out next time we're in the area. This settles it, I'm putting it on the master list!

Steve and Tess love to explore nature, whether it be backpacking, packrafting, mountain biking, hiking, or just wandering.  The more we explore, the more we realize just how little we've seen.
