Goodbye Jackson, Hello Again Utah...

All good things must come to an end... including our time in Jackson, WY. Tess' sister is getting married in a couple weeks and we're headed to Utah to be there for it. What a beautiful drive!

Our next priority is selling Fred and selling the Airstream to get a smaller Airstream and a different van...

Hi you two! Well my wife and I have thrown in the towel at this full-time RVing lifestyle. We have now traveled about 5,000 miles towing the Airstream. We're in Sun City, AZ visiting family. I'm getting ready to contact your salesman, Denny, in Mesa, about selling our Airstream. This lifestyle is much more expensive than I ever thought it would be. I must say that your home state is beautiful! We stayed at our worst and best RV parks in Utah. An overnight stay in Pleasant View was the worst. Right off of the interstate in a dumpy trailer park.
But the best was in Hurricane, Utah at the Willow Wind RV park. Trees and more trees! Our goal is to sell before the first of the year so we won't have to relicense all of our vehicles in January. We want to head to Maine and build a small 600-700 sq.ft.cottage and be with our children and grandchildren. I think of you two every time I see a Transit~

darn, sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. We agree, it's not super cheap to live this way, especially if you're paying to stay at parks every night.

Shoot us an email about your Airstream model just in case it's one we're looking at buying. We've been talking to Denny and he's retired now.

Maine sounds AWESOME. We'll be vising there in August.

Guess I missed the full story on the total tradeoff of the van and current Airstream. What? Why? Just after I watched the "Here's our Airstream" video. Seems like a dramatic change of events so early in your journey, but good luck with it. We've had our 31' Classic for a year now & hard to imagine getting a smaller one. We love it. Happy travels.

Steve and Tess love to explore nature, whether it be backpacking, packrafting, mountain biking, hiking, or just wandering.  The more we explore, the more we realize just how little we've seen.
