Since we love airstreams so much, we decided to look into some other similar trailers. Back in the 60s, a company called "streamline" made aluminum-shelled trailers. In this episode we head to a local version to see what it's like. Far too much of a project for us, but it's a very cool starting platform.

I would be very aware of what the trailer was originally designed to haul and or rated for and know exactly how much weight your putting into the trailer in a remodel. This from a voice of experience....we bought a boat, floors had been redone with 1/2" Plywood and 1/2" hardwood on top of that which equals a lot of extra weight which in turn means you can't have as much stuff on board. Just sharing my wisdom....Best wishes...
