Mountain Bike Clinics and Instruction

We focus on having FUN on your bike. You'll learn skills that will make you not only a faster rider, but a safer rider who has more fun on the trails than ever before. If you've ever watched another rider and thought "man, they flow like one with the trail, how do I do that?" these classes will help you.

For all clinics, we strongly recommend you use flat pedals and leave the clipless pedals off.

Introduction to Slickrock: Clinic On the World-Famous Slickrock Bike Trail - $100

Riding Slickrock is so much fun! However, the terrain, traction, risks, and skills required are completely different from  those required to ride a traditional singletrack dirt trail. This clinic will teach you not only how to navigate slickrock safely, but how to have fun and turn this amazing terrain into your personal playground.

This clinic will take place on the practice loop portion of the slickrock bike trail. This is an intermediate/advanced trail that will push you in more ways than one. This clinic is not suitable for first-time bikers. This clinic will help you have the skills and confidence to safely ride the Slickrock bike trail, and to learn how to turn obstacles into a giant playground.
By the end of this 2 hour clinic, you will be able to:
  • adjust your current riding skills to suit this unique terrain
  • demonstrate proper body position to stay safe on slickrock
  • read and analyze the trail ahead to decide the best line/approach for a given obstacle
  • climb steep slickrock fins
  • descend steep slickrock fins
  • brake safely on slickrock
  • corner on slickrock

Dates: TBD

One on One Instruction

Experience has shown us that group lessons are actually more beneficial to you as a rider, but if you'd prefer one-on-one instruction, we offer that too. Contact us to discuss what you'd like to work on as well as rates.
